Abingdon Artists is a society for all who are interested in paintings. Its activities and membership are concentrated in and around Abingdon in South Oxfordshire, UK. There are approximately 100 members. It has much to interest those who are simply interested in art. Most of the members are painters (the large majority being amateur) and for these there are painting activities and three exhibitions per year.

Evening meetings (about 8 each year) include demonstrations and art history.

Exhibition entries are not subject to selection, but the standard is high and there is a full range of media and a wide range of styles

Membership is £15 per year. Evening meetings are free to members. Hanging fees are usually £2.50 per painting and members usually have the opportunity to exhibit up to 9 paintings per year (3 in each exhibition).
